7a. Summary about wether our hypothesis was met or not met.
Although, Dr. Parott provided our group with the cabbage plant, our hypothesis was met. We believe it was met because, we were able to continue the growth of the plant using the aid of fish in a substantial environment.
7b. Summary about wether our experiment was successful. Why or why not?
Our experiment was successful, because-with the aid of Dr. Parrott-we were able to continue the growth of the cabbage plant starting at 10cm to grow to 10.9cm. However, at the same time, our experiment was not successful due to the fact that our team wasn't able to germinate the lettuce plant on our own.
(BEFORE) Side View (AFTER) Side View
As shown in the pictures, the difference between the (before) side view and the (after) side view is the entire apperance. We completely changed the tank during the experiment. Our team switched from a storage bin to a fish tank. We also took out the styrofoam floating beds and the plastic bottles and updated them to smaller pots & containers.
(BEFORE) Top View (AFTER) Top View
As shown in the pictures, the difference between the (before) top view and the (after) top view is that in the (after) top view it shows a plant and the height/growth of a plant is visible. However, in the (before) top view there aren't any plants.

Afternoon: Despite the lack of sunlight Spike & Viki used to get, they're still behaving. They swim around more then they used to and we think they've finally gotten comfortable........so thats something to be happy about!!!

Afternoon: Spike & VIki are doing just fine. They really like to hang out in the back corner of the tank. They also don't swim without one another.

Afternoon: The cabbage plant has grown to 10.2 cm! It has also grown back to 8 leaves-thankfully. But the plant itself hasn't had any recorded growth. Currently, LMSZ waters the plants manually so the plant gets nutrients. Some of the leafs are turning yellow, so that's not a great sign. One of the leaves does have a bum hole in the middle. :(

Afternoon: Another leaf has fallen off of the plant. That makes only six leaves remaining. We fear for the plants wellbeing. Desperately going to have to improve the environment.

Our fish were feed. They were also staring out the tank admiring their reflections.

Our cabbage plant looks extremely healthy and is slowly growing.

Our fish have been feed after a week of starvation, and Vikki was swimming vivaciously. Spike was more so calm and conservative.

Today our plant looks droopy and unhealthy. On the other had, it has two new leaves growing.
